Dear Gergely Lágler,
I would like to ask you if our solution of the problem with motor
controller should be solved like this:
We think about to make welded frame which will be screwed to main hoop
bracing (mounting plates 2mm thick) and motor cover (mounting plates
2mm thick) by 8mm bolts grade 8.8 (due to FSAE rules). Cover frame
will be made from round tube 20x1 mm (this fullfill German rules - we
would like to participate in Formula ATA in Italy and they use Formula
Student Electric rules). Please correct me if I am wrong, but I think
Formula Student Hungary rules does not specify dimensions of tubes
which protects HV parts outside the frame.
Thank you to Your reply
Best Regards
